George Edward Venables
July 4, 1937 - January 25, 2010
George passed away at home. One of three children, he was born in Los Angeles to Wilbur and Jean Venables. As might be expected from his July 4th birthdate, he served proudly as a Marine in the USMC.
George joined Litton Industries, Woodland Hills, in February of 1962 where he became a valued employee receiving many awards for his contributions to product quality and toward customer satisfaction. During the 38 years that George was employed by Litton he made many friends and gained the respect of everyone for his untiring dedication to maintaining the quality of the company products.
George's friends and associates have expressed their high regard for George Venables and say that he will be missed very much.
George leaves behind a loving daughter, Sandra Jolene Venables.
Delayed Memorial Services were held on Monday, January 24, 2011, at St Mary the Virgin Church, located inside Oakwood Memorial Park, 22601 Lassen Street, Chatsworth, CA 91311.
